Precision Metal Products employee                                                                       May 2016 – January 2018

 

§  Designed inspection fixtures, machining fixtures, forging tooling, and pass/fail gauges.

§  Designed and created assembly drawings, including bill of materials and detail drawings.

§  Produced solutions for efficiency improvements, production complications, and expansion.

§  Coordinated in house tooling production to accommodate the sales plan as well as irregular tooling damage and stock inventory.

§  Produced and implemented new systems for document control, tooling inspection, and machine maintenance. Purchased material as needed.

§  Constructed a detailed floor-layout map of the facility with a numbering system that linked company asset numbers to equipment serial numbers and maintenance forms.

§  Teaching a weekly class the basics of Arduino programming

§  Currently managing a team of students in fabricating and programming a transportable water brake dynamometer to be used at competition, and to analyze power losses in the CVT and transmission

§  Currently prototyping a pellet gun chronograph built into a push-on 3D printed muzzle brake with Bluetooth capabilities for data reporting
